Designed for ambitious and innovative Northern Ireland businesses with the potential to sell outside the region, the programme can support you to explore new markets, get your products export-ready and upskill your team so you can compete on a global stage.
Successful applicants will also have the opportunity to connect with other like-minded business owners.
How can your business benefit from the Groundwork for Growth programme?
Through the Groundwork for Growth programme, your business could benefit from:
- Up to £15,000 in grant support towards market, product or skills development
- The opportunity to become an Invest Northern Ireland client
- An export-focused workshop designed to strengthen your ability to sell into new markets
Whether you’re looking to reach new customers, develop your offering or strengthen your team’s capabilities, the programme could give your business valuable support to take that next step.
Could your business qualify?
Groundwork for Growth is open to Northern Ireland businesses that meet the programme’s eligibility criteria, including businesses that:
- Are not currently an Invest Northern Ireland client
- Have the potential to increase sales outside Northern Ireland
- Have an annual turnover below £2 million, or sales outside Northern Ireland of less than £250,000
- Can demonstrate a need for government support
